If you're ever bored at home and looking for a friendly voice to talk to, but don't know who to call, you might consider calling up a free live chat service and see who else is in the same situation.  These services are also sometimes called live chat lines and teen chat lines, and some of them are free for you to check out. You don't just get paired up with some random person though! When you get on the system, you can record a greeting of your own saying who you are and what you're looking to talk about, and then you can listen to greetings left by other people who are on the chat line right now, so you can find someone that shares your interests or is near your location.  And in case you don't find someone right away that you want to talk to, you can always just leave your greeting and call back later to see if anyone has answered.
